A beta version of ST-Sim version 1.3 is now available for download at https://apexrms.com/projects/stsm. Some key features included in this version:

1. The ability to specify probability distributions for transition targets.
2. The ability to stratify the simulation landscape according to two independent categories. Typically these are ecological and jurisdictional.
3. The ability to define transition attributes such as management costs, timber volume harvested and C0₂ emissions.
4. The ability to set targets such as restoration budgets on transition attributes.
