The LANDFIRE program just released its Model Tracker Databases (MTDBs) which are MS Access files that contain documentation for more than 1,200 state-and-transition models representing every ecosystem mapped by the program in the U.S. This documentation was previously released only in pdf form. The availability of the MTDBs provides easier access to the model information and allows for additional functionality such as querying information for multiple models at once. Even if you are not using LANDFIRE models, the MTDBs provide a good example of how to track model related information for any modeling project.
